Alameda Blaze ended their season with 2 wins and 2 losses in the Santa Clara tournament.

Friday July 25th

Alameda Blaze 5 vs. Branham Hill Thunder 2

Pitcher Anakelia Crevani faced 4 batters in the 1st inning striking out 3 of them, making it a scoreless inning. The 2nd inning Dominique Shaver started off with a triple then Shannon Regan on a great bunt went to first and brought Shaver home for an RBI. Bottom of the 3rd Caroline liu had a single she stole 2nd and 3rd, Shaver with an RBI and Shannon Regan walked on to 1st base then stole 2nd, 3rd and home.Top of the 4th inning outfielder Jackie made a great catch for the 2nd out in the inning and Isabella Deathridge shortstop jumped to make a great catch for the 3rd out.Isabella also had a single and Shaver with an RBI to give Blaze the 5th run.

Saturday July 26th

Alameda Blaze 0 vs. MVLA Nova 13

Great defensive plays were made by Shannon Regan, Caroline Liu and no ball got by Isabella Deathridge.

Alameda Blaze 17 vs. Los Gatos Magic 4

Kelly Desmond first up to bat had a single and stole 2nd, 3rd and home to put Blaze on the board first.Caroline Liu had a single, triple and 4 RBIs in this game. Dominique Shaver had a single, double, triple and 3 RBIs to contribute to the score of this game. Shannon had a single with 2 RBIs and stole home twice in this game. Alana Reyes had a single and an RBI giving Blaze the win.

Sunday July 27th

Alameda Blaze 3 vs. Victory 13

Isabella Deathridge was all over that ball defensively and is credited for 7 outs in 4 innings. Pitcher Vivienne Saulovich is credited for 4 defensive outs, a single with an RBI. Shannon Regan had a double and another walk to 1st, then stole 2nd, 3rd and home once again.Caroline Liu had a single, Sasita Knauer contributed to the score with a sacrifice out with an RBI.

To sum up the season Alameda Blaze superior coaching took this team, who won not 1 game last year, to winning 17 games this year and a second place in the Pleasant Hill tournament. Thank you Alameda Blaze 10U coaching staff and team for an exciting year
