AGSA Board Meeting
Tuesday, January 8, 2008

Registration Update:
To date we have a total of 115 girls registered:
6U = 31
8U = 34
10U = 26
12U = 15
14U = 9
Board agrees to waive late fee on registration to get more sign ups.  Dani will send out an e-mail via sportability regarding no late fee but will also include registration closes no matter what on January 31, 2008.

Ken will send out an e-mail regarding ACE certifications.

5013C Status
Ken will deliver the 5013C paperwork on Sunday to Sean Rhatighan to be filed.  Dani also reports we get a discount on school auditorium rental for being a sports organization with a 5013C.

Website
Ken gave a thank you to Anne for all her work with communications and the website and she will be missed.  Sharon will take over some of Anne’s communication duties.

Sharon will change coaches meeting on website from January 28, 2008 to January 30, 2008. 

Sharon needs “content” for the new website.  Please have all content to Sharon by February 1, 2008.

Clinic
Ken will check fields the morning of the clinic and will contact Dani who will e-mail via Sportability and Sharon will post a broad cast on the website.

Evaluations
January 26, 2008 from 12:00 to 2:00 for the 10U’s and 2:00 to 4:00 for the 12U’s and 14U’s.  If it rains, make up evaluations will be on February 2, 2008 same times.  Dani will send out an e-mail regarding evaluations on Monday.      

Equipment
Jay will finish the inventory on all equipment and will put the bags all together in time for the draft on February 4, 2008.  The drafts will be held at 2233 Santa Clara Avenue.  Jay will also order four pitching machines.  We will bring old helmets to clinics to give away.

Fields
Tom reported no issues regarding A.G.S.A. and Krusi  at the A.R.P.D. meeting.  Tom will pick up the necessary paperwork from Trini.

Shed
We have four different quotes ranging from $2,200 to $2,300 for a 20X8X8 shed.

Inter-league
Ken and Sharon will get together this week to get familiar with the scheduling software.  Ken will be unavailable from January 18, 2008 to January 25, 2008.

Umpires
Phil will meet with Jim to go over all aspects of umpiring and will inventory the umpire equipment.  Umpire schedule must be finalized by February 29, 2008.

Phil will take care of existing inter-league rules and have them to Dani by January 30, 2008.  After Phil attends the  inter-league umpire rules meeting, we can make any changes after that.  We will register all umpires through ASA.
