Sponsorship/Fund-raising Update
Gwen reported to date we have 7 sponsors paid with 6 left to pay.  Alameda Town Center will sponsor.

Communications
Need to send out an e-mail to all coaches to send any communications to Ken for the time being.  Dani will send out an e-mail to let people know we are looking for someone to fill the communications position on the Board.

Website - It’s done!  Sharon will input the e-mail addresses for the Board members and a brief description of their duties for contact purposes.

Coaches will be responsible for inputting scores.

Schedule 2008
Ken and Sharon spent 2 weeks on the schedule.  Discovered it is much easier to manually input rather than use the software.  There are less mistakes.  Brief discussion on ending registration on January 15th next year. This will reduce the stress for schedules, uniforms, etc.

Opening Day
Carla is in charge of balloons (team colors).  Snack bar - Dottie sorted sweatshirts by size in totes.  Totes and coolers downstairs at mansion - need help getting them to Krusi Opening Day.  Dottie will have the snack bar schedule out this week and will assign teams.

Umpires
Phil reported we have 15 new umpires trained and 10 returning.  Phil will send out e-mail to umpires to start signing up and will load the info.  into Sportability.  Philly will transfer to an Excel spreadsheet.

Ken will go to league to clarify pitching rule.

Equipment/Uniform Update
Jen reported uniforms should be ready to distribute by Thursday.  She will send out an e-mail to coaches on where to pick them up.

Jay will build the pitching machine and have it ready for Opening Day.  We have one already built and Jay will build the last two when we have the room to store them.

Equipment wise we need more softballs, buckets, bats, and helmets for next year.

Advanced Clinics
Start this Sunday, March 9th from 3:00 to 6:00 on fields 1 and 3.  Dani will send out an e-mail with information on the clinic.

We had over 60 girls attend the pitching/catching clinic and it went really well!

ASA Meeting
Ken will speak with John Gouveia on improving ASA Certification Meetings.

Round Robin

Scheduled for the week of June 2 through 5.  8U’s will play in Round

Meeting Adjourned  2030 hours.
