FINANCIAL:
Darlene reported the last fiscal year figures.
Board had a discussion on the fee for A.G.S.A. Need to re-vamp the scholarship program. Philly needs to look into specific guidelines for scholarships. Possibly put a financial guideline on income and require MORE parent volunteer time.
All board members approved slate via e-mail. As of 5:00 p.m. July 10, 2007, there were 50 yes votes and 0 no votes.
Christina McKenna will help Anne this year and transition for following season. Add approved slate.
For the following season:
Carla - Player Agent ?
Ken - staying on for one more year ?
Possible "commissioner" position ?
Ken will send an e-mail of congratulations and an invite to the next Board meeting on August 7, 2007.
5013C - Dani e-mailed Sean Rhatighan. It is about $1,000.00 for a 5013C and Sean will take care of it. He won't charge A.G.S.A. any legal fees. We need to hire an accountant - possibly Kelly Averitt?
Jay will e-mail forms 1023 and FTB 3500 to Ken.
FALL BALL
Dates for Fall Ball will be October 14, 21, 28 and November 4. We will hold the 6U's and 8U's from 1:00 to 2:30 and the 10U's, 12U's, and 14U's from 1:00 to 3:00 and possibly staying longer for scrimmages. Need a defined separation on age groups and need to start conforming coaches in all age groups. A.G.S.A. will spend money on instructors for Fall Ball and have A.G.S.A. coaches there to learn and help out.
COMMUNICATIONS
Anne still working with co-worker on website. A co-worker of Steve Jones (Philly's husband) is a web designer (Jeff).
Jeff can update or redesign A.G.S.A. website on a timely basis. Website needs to be updated daily with current up to the minute information at all times.
We need to bring both web designer prospects in for interviews the second week in August.
