FUN BALL
Fun ball update - Sharon met with Chelsea who agreed to run three of the four clinics then suggested the coaches run the last clinic. Coaches will be encouraged to come watch the first three clinics to learn drills. We will also have a scrimmage during the last clinic.nt>

Breakdown of times are as follows for the clinics:

6U and 8U 12:00 to 1:30
10U, 12U, and 14U 2:00 to 4:00

The clinics will cost A.G.S.A. $300 to $400 for Chelsea.

Board members will need to help with registration during Fun Ball. Sharon will report back to Jay at the next board meeting in regards to equipment needed from him. Anne will report the skills being taught at each clinic in the newspaper.

INTERLEAGUE
Ken, Philly, and Tom attended the inter league meeting. There was a lot of discussion on how teams are set up and played. Discussion about breaking down of 12U by grade instead of age. Ken will e-mail the inter league teams and tell them we are keeping our 12U and 14U teams the way they are. Discussion on 10U's - 9th Batter stands there- can't walk, hits, or strikes out.

Discussion about 8U's starting with a 1-1 count. Discussion on 12U and 14U using ASA umpires for inter league play and using volunteer umpires for intra league play.

Anne reported that using Your City Sports for registration mean we can't use Sportability at all. Anne spoke with Sportability and they can design a web site for us that we can maintain. The cost would be between $750 to $1,000.

Sharon reported Your City Sports can do a web site but it wouldn't be as "pretty" as what Sportability can do. Sharon will be asking Sportability a few more technical questions and will report back to the Board at October's meeting.
