Alameda Girls Softball Association (AGSA) provides recreational and tournament fastpitch softball programs for girls age 4 to 14 with the overall goal of developing sportsmanship, teamwork, friendship and leadership. AGSA is the only youth sports league in Alameda with a primary focus on development of girls in sports. AGSA is affiliated with NorCal USA Softball.
Spring 2027 Recreational Softball Registration is Now Open!
WHEN
- Registration is open now through January 4th, 2027
- Spring season runs from February through mid-May
- Athletes will participate in 2 practices per week beginning in February
- Saturday games beginning the first weekend in March
WHO
Players age 4-14 of any skill level are welcome.
Important Dates
- Registration open thru January 4th, 2027, then subject to waitlist
- Player Evaluations (8U and older) will take place January 9-10
- Teams formed by end of January
- Practices begin the first week of February
- Games begin March 6 and continue through May 23
- Games are mostly on Saturdays
- 10U and above will play some games on Friday night "under the lights"
- Season wraps up with playoff week (5/17-5/21) and championship games the weekend of May 22-23
Registrations is $200 for 8U and older divisions and $150 for 6U. AGSA is proud to offer fee assistance for those families in need.
