Pitch Hit & Run is a free and easily administered program that provides boys and girls ages 7 to 14 the opportunity to showcase their pitching, hitting and running abilities. Participants compete in either the Baseball Division or Softball Division and have the chance to advance through four levels of competition, including Team Championships at Major League Ballparks, and the National Finals during MLB All-Star Week!

At the end of every season, each team designates a winner of the "Dottie Stolze Award" for the player who best exemplifies the qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, and friendship. The award is named for the late Alameda softball legend who possessed all these characteristics in abundance.
The 8U, 10U and 12U/14U division playoffs take place during the week of May 13.

Alameda Girls Softball Association (AGSA) provides recreational and tournament fastpitch softball programs for girls age 4 to 14 with the overall goal of developing sportsmanship, teamwork, friendship and leadership.
